We were asked to “do the nose crinkle” smile… I’ve never seen us look so similar in a photo! I almost never see myself in my kid, but this photo? I totally see it!

5 years ago I would have felt obligated to go to a friend’s whiskey tasting party because my wife wanted to go…I would have gotten trashed, even thought I didn’t want to go. Today, I stayed home (without feeling pressured) and my partner went without me. I feel liberated, and very content. :)

My favorite pair of discontinued shoes were finally falling apart and I lamented to my partner about it yesterday morning. This afternoon, I get a phone call saying that my shoes “would be ready on Friday” My thoughtful partner took them to the cobbler for repairs as a surprise! 😭🥰
