one of the goals of the work @softmoon.world and i have been doing for new @processing.org webgpu backend is for high level support for compute shaders / particles. excited to finally get this working, 50k boids rendering at 60fps and being rasterized by @bevy.org materials system, w/ 0 custom wgsl

I find myself strongly drawn to reverse engineering for the public good. It not only empowers others (a student could use these devices to "make an interactive installation that responds to the temperature/wind", etc.); it also can give this crap a new life, hopefully outside of a landfill.
