TBF there absolutely are. Neil Gaimain, Woody Allen, etc. & other sex pests. Or bigots like Orson Scott Card & Scott Cawthorn. They're just not as wealthy or influential as JKR. But the solution isn't to ignore it, it's to also not engage w/ their work for similar reasons.

If people posted equally about what is happening to actual, real trans people through legislation and medical systems compared to what they posted about fictional wizard media, more trans peoples’ lives could be saved. It would take just a fraction of the work people put into media franchises.
