As a native Texan I’m also just extremely tired of people looking down on us for what they perceive as our lifestyle of cows and horses and ignorance. We are a state full of extremely diverse cities, culture, world-class med centers, & varying viewpoints. And really good food.

I desperately need Good Liberal People to understand there are a lot of factors that go into staying in a red state, and much of it is the inability to afford a HCOL blue area. Yes, it is classist to laugh at the misfortunes of people who couldn’t feasibly move.
