I think you’ll see some serious evolution to NYS and SUNY’s approaches to financial sustainability as the reality of a decade of NYS underfunding under Patterson/Cuomo and a Pataki-era allocation formula combined with the Big Ugly sink in. Proof will be in the pudding, but stay tuned & keep pushing.

But we are adjusting and synching up better with SUNY’s strategy and Chancellor King’s approach. On community colleges, they are getting drops in the bucket in additional operating aid compared to, say, Downstate. But the conditions that made a UUP win possible there do not exist elsewhere.
