This week, I was blessed to join Hindu New Yorkers in Queens celebrating Navratri, Durga Puja, Dashain, and Vijayadashami.  We danced garba, performed aarti, witnessed Sindoor Khela, and honored the Goddess Durga.

I walked out of a BBQ dinner with my dad when he was saying awful stuff about Somali immigrants. "You're wrong, but I don't owe you an argument. Come on honey, let's pack up the kids." Dad apologized later and straightened out! He's the ANTI-Trump coot at the home. 😁
