I hope it goes without saying, but the keywords are so much 'consenting' and 'adults' here. Fantasy around power dynamics aren't about people who don't or can't consent.

I think part of it is that I've seen fantasy be an incredibly powerful and positive thing for some people. Particularly those who have found difficulty connecting with their sexual self because of shame and guilt in the past.

For me, the answer to both is education. It doesn't help if we treat approaches to doing so as a perverse thing in itself. If young people are getting sex education from pornography, then we need better sex education.
