One of the problems with "indies will save games/animation/<insert medium here>" is no one has any fucking money Most people who would want to fund an interesting project do not have the resources to sustain the money faucet needed for any long term projects

Don Bluth is the American Miyazaki and it's a shame that his legacy does not live on at a well-funded level. So many classic films that were original, interesting, and had a style all their own. It's wild that so many people don't know his name
