The last sentence sounds like a very elegant description of the inelegance of life. Therefore, life sciences is the perfect place to use SHIT (super-human intelligence tech) because the overwhelming use cases for SHIT are domains where using SHIT makes no sense.

I think astronomers were excited but society in general, less so. Galileo was on house arrest until his death because he said that the earth revolved around the sun. A healthy belief in the philosophy of Nietzsche helps prevent despair.

This reminds me of a police raid in the dept of chemistry where I was an undergraduate. They were looking for a compound that can be used to make heroin 😳😂 they picked up all the containers marked with the name in Italian, but left all of those with the name in German...
