I'm excited to read this and the associated paper. I haven't had to grapple with defining ranges too much for our minnow work (fish hybrids = yup fish are there), but when it comes to predicting outcomes of hybrid zones it might be useful to have discrete boundaries.

New paper in @methodsinecoevol.bsky.social ! We integrate mark-recapture (MR) and territory occupancy data to estimate spatial variation in survival and its drivers when MR data are sparce. We test this new method using long-term data on peregrine falcons in Hungary. doi.org/10.1111/2041...
