I'm 26 years old and I'm pretty sure I have an addiction on my phone. It's not porn or gambling. I'm barely on social media and I never post. I don't read the news or doomscroll. It's cribbage. I can't stop playing online cribbage with all the Nans.

Just ordered lunch from my local (cash only) cafe. Mentioned I was £2 short of ordering what I really wanted. 10 mins later my original choice arrived. "Just put £2 in the tip jar next time you come," said the proprietor. That's how you gain a loyal customer & that's why independent businesses rule.

The thermostat in my parents house is set to 25⁰C/77⁰F. When they were both ill in hospital I turned it down to 22⁰C/71⁰F. They are both now home and haven't noticed yet. The house is finally bearable to be in and one of the cats have stopped shedding fur.
