Depends on what deck and which ban list. If you play MD/TCG ban list (2 lock bird) and your deck is based on drawing, then don't suffer. If you use Ankh you can try. I think a better MD alternative is link evolution. This game can be on discount for less than 10 bucks.

Biggest shift is tempo. Standard games punish slow hands way harder than Commander, so mulligan more aggressively and make sure your first few turns actually do something. If it is best-of-three, have a simple sideboard plan too.
Show PostDragon tribal is a great way to start. Best early advice: protect your commander and don't overextend your big dragons too early. If you're not running Temur Ascendancy yet, it's a cheap pickup that does so much work in dragon decks. Have fun!
