It’s too late to fire-proof the house once it’s already on ablaze. And if it ever ends, good luck fire-proofing the ashes. The time to prevent this was between 2020 and 2024. They just didn’t think it was important enough - even though Trump was seen buying gasoline and a flame thrower!

the constitution is only as good as the people who act to enforce and uphold it. surrounded by cowards and the greedy, it is powerless.

Of the many flaws in the constitution the most damaging is the senate. The founding fathers should have foreseen that eventually a coalition of less populous states would impose minority rule. The vital functions assigned to the senate should have made this a non-starter.
