Since I’m looking to make a simplified 2D platformer, I’m down to two options. GDevelop and GameMaker Studio 2. I did some research on GDevelop and it seems to be a game engine that lets you make a game without coding, which sounds easy enough for me. But GameMaker is the more popular one.
