Also, they still have those games and could play them again. There are so many games that are just a joy to play, new and old. But some people don't want to actually have a good time with their precious time.

It's extremely frustrating how much of the retro gaming space isn't focused on a love of the art form and preservation of history, but rather tasteless failmen trying desperately to relive their childhood. There's definitely a throughline there.
