Despite reports that Pikachu didn’t miss his sister at all while she was in the hospital, I think he is very happy to have her back home. 🥹

A week after she went into the hospital, Eevee is home. In the first half-hour being home, she ate, ran up and down stairs, used her scratcher enthusiastically, and comfort-nursed her favorite blanket. She lived and is gonna keep living ❤️

Eevee update: We are finally seeing some trending upwards instead of just treading very tepid water. She is eating better finally & her congestion is starting to clear up (she developed a secondary respiratory infection that was hindering her recovery significantly). She gets to come home tomorrow!

I don’t really have a strong and great Eevee update today. She is still very anemic and not eating much at all. She is still doing overall ok but at this time is still just day to day and has a long way to go before she’ll be out of the woods and able to come home.
