a lot of the details of it are fuzzy in my mind now but the sheer amount of talent we had packed into that team was insane. i wonder how much better it could have been utilized with kinder leadership, better prioritizing of goals, and just... better folks calling the shots, y'know?

i often told myself "well, the team is actually getting shit done so i guess his leadship is doing *something* even if it strikes me as pretentious and shitty" but as ive gone on to work on other projects ive realized how far that project got was despite his actions, not because of them

the dude gave me many a headache when i was deep in LOMN restoration stuff. lots of nights where the only thing keeping me involved was a feeling that if i didnt keep doing what i was doing, people would only ever be playing a version of the game newly broken in just as many ways as we'd fixed
