Am reading a big music information retrieval paper purportedly studying trends in musical complexity over time. But then you get in there and the data set is comprised entirely of MIDI files. So this is not a study of music, this is a study of the aspects of music that can be notated.

I really like that it's not that crowded yet, somehow the interactions feel easier/more natural! It seems to me the ML community seems to be moving over slowly but steadily. I also like the feed that only shows the content of the people I follow (no recommended content) so no doom scrolling.
