Show PostEvery time i read some conservative christian write "ooh, those lefties hate me for my faith" I have to laugh. Like, I am openly and visibly and loudly religious and even the most turbo anti-theists are largely fine with me. They don't hate you for your faith, they hate you cause you're an asshole.

One of the things that worries me is the misapprehension that academia is the collection of facts. That learning science is learning names of things. That learning history is laerning what happened on what date. It's all far richer than that.
