On deep level these people are just rejecting society itself. They do not want to participate. They do not care how society has benefitted and continues to benefit them. They don't care what happens to anyway else.

In addition, Section 230 provides protections beyond those that are provided by the First Amendment. Those were originally provided because, at the time, that was viewed as in the best interests of society. (And, at that time, I think that was correct.)

It should be subject to frequent reassessment. And, if there are circumstances where it fails to serve its purpose, amended or repealed.
