Option C: Fourth place, so close for not even a podium spot 😭 But last place feels worse especially if you’re a lower level player/team in, say, an uncapped DE tournament. There’s no denying that you’re not the *best*, but when I was new to comp climbing the ranks seemed overwhelming.

hot take but last place. getting second doesn't really hurt me, second place is still really good. and last place sucks because knowing you were never in the running to win hurts so so much
