Used to frequently see Sean Hughes in Crouch End's Railway Tavern in the early 90s. Unlike so many London telly celebs in that decade, he was always courteous, polite & generous. But the melancholy was palpable. Blimey it feels much longer than 9 years. Here's to The Whittington Hospital N19 x

In the city to attend to some business so have stopped off at Ye Olde Watling. Stone cold classic city pub and the small fortune it costs to have a pint reflects that. Shall have to call my broker to leverage my interests.
