I thought the performances were good but somehow this film is less interesting than the true events of the real show. I get it’s a character study, but without a better depiction of why people even followed the show or what they thought about it, it falls flat.

Definitely some strong opinions in that crowd! 😅 I’ve only seen 1 other resident evil film before this one. I found this one enjoyable until the end.

It was a lot better than I expected! I thought it would just rely heavily on nostalgia, but there were a lot of funny moments! 7/10

Rachel’s reaction when the woman said this was better than Alien is hilarious! 😄 I saw it out of boredom. While completely made, this is a good example of a film where almost everything could have been a lot better. The romance, the action, the tension, etc.

I like watching the audience reviews that @farmerpigprod.bsky.social does because I find audience opinions to be very interesting! I feel that whenever there’s a remake, only half of the people have seen the original or were even aware an original existed. It will still do well at the box office.
