Shrinking would concentrate even more power in fewer hands. Expanding it would dilute each justice's influence, broaden representation & judicial experience, & make the Court less vulnerable to the ideological disaster of lifetime appointments.

No trials needed, either. Their crimes have been well-documented. They deprived thousands of innocent people of due process, so they don't need it, either. Prison for life, 0 parole, in the general population. Harsh? Ask the families of Renee Good and Alex Pretti about "harsh".
