This signaling axis isn't unique to T cells. It also drives movement in other immune cells and in the social amoeba Dictyostelium discoideum - meaning we've uncovered an conserved mechanism for how cells move. I was super lucky to work with @michard-celine.bsky.social on the Dicty part of the story.
