Preserving that order is really the core of Project 2025. Civil rights, children cutting off parents, women getting divorced (or never marrying in the first place), abortion, liberation of sexual and gender minorities, workers rights, are all symptoms of a specific social order breaking down. 8/8
Show PostAdults "cutting off" their parents is a reflection of the most basic rules and expectations of white society breaking down. It's a MASSIVE reordering of power. Generations of abuse and manipulation in the service of protecting a certain way of life down the drain all because people can say no. 7/
Show PostExcept...now folks are. Theres no inheritances left to preserve, the Uncle Teds have taken over so there are fewer and fewer relationships worth preserving, and folks are building their own networks with people who don't treat them like shit and expect their silence and submission. 6/
Show PostWhy? Because setting a boundary makes things hard for everyone else. They might even have to TALK about it. Which we do not do. 5/
