Texas Democrats aren’t running away from anything. They’re fighting, with every tool they have, to save our democracy. Kudos to each and every one of them for taking this stand. We should be inspired by their courage and reminded that tyranny is only possible if we submit to it.

"If SCOTUS guts the Voting Rights Act, the prospect of Republicans stealing only 5 seats in Texas will feel quaint. While California must counteract what the GOP is doing in Texas, we don’t have enough seats to counteract what they could do if the VRA if gutted. It cement permanent GOP rule."
