Saw an interview clip not long ago where he said it was the only song where he wrote the lyrics first and the melody after. Then (in the interview) he banged out the melody with one finger on the piano and said “Listen to that. That’s AWFUL. It’s like a dentist’s drill.”

This is so true. Someone close to me goes to a church where the minister serves as a marriage counselor and then instructs the congregation to isolate the people coming to him for help because they aren’t godly enough if they are suffering.

The fancy spot near our house has a promo right now benefitting the local shelter, where you can order a little meal for your pup too. We went with just a chicken breast for Subie today because tummy stuff, but it was so frickin fun to have a nice anniversary dinner AND spoil the dog. And stickers!
