I think God lying is just in the evidence in that clearly things are not left up to chance, in all those familiar faces being brought together at the exact same time. Definitely seems ineffable to me, which would mean God lied.

I think the idea that it’s our universe comes from the idea that Crowley seems to believe he’s asking for a new universe and it sounds like ours, billions of years, etc. There was 1 universe, it ended, he’s making a new one, we exist, therefore, it’s ours.

I think that they created our universe, which of course tragically doesn’t have the kind of magic in it that existed in the original universe. Trade offs for having dinosaurs I guess! But yes, I agree it’s not a blank slate of universe, bc God interfered and Crowley and Aziraphale were tricked 🥲
