Found this provocative pulp cover on Heritage’s auction site and was struck by two things- the bad guys always seemed to wear the rubber chemical suits as that was likely exotic wear in 1939. The other thing was the blatant nudity for a newsstand pulp magazine. Anyhow, the artist in me likes it!

Here’s my one-off custom collection of LILLY MACKENZIE by @simonfraser.bsky.social it’s pulpy fun with a dash of hard sci-fi. I had fond memories of it from @2000ad.bsky.social Judge Dredd Megazine. It’s creator-owned but mocked up to look like an official release! Wonderful art & script!
