Take this with a grain of salt because it's coming from salt, but I hate playing Arch rain/Mega Golisopod teams. It's just so fucking dispiriting when you take down one raid boss Pokémon and then the other trainer says "Yes, but what about second raid boss Pokémon?"

Actual controversial opinion, I prefer the Velvets in dreamy melodic "Sunday Morning", "Femme Fatale" mode to scuzzy "Waiting For The Man", "Venus In Furs" mode, though I enjoy both.

7. I’d argue that, even in these early seasons, the show goes back to the Daleks too many times. They start out interesting and intelligent but with each new serial, get a little more caricatured and bumbling. The path from a complex feud w/ the Thals to nonstop "Exterminate! I obey!" is an odd one

8. A few serials feature some unexpectedly ambitious cinematography. Waris Hussein and Douglas Camfield in particular truly use the camera as a tool to make meaning and deliver more impressive shots and compositions than I'd have expected on a weekly television show from sixty years ago
