Watching a Harper spot on tv last night, asking people to vote for PP, struck me as kind of creepy and desperate. IMO it’s a solid indicator that they’re only trying to hang on to the base they had because Harper has no appeal to anyone outside that old base. That base is nervously watching Trump.

The #Trump administration wants to overwhelm their opposition. Protests around the country will likely not erode the Trumpist's resolve, but may intimidate them. The biggest benefit of the #protests, I think, is unity and strengthening the protesters' resolve to "never give up, never surrender."

Walking home from our protest, we met a nice man who agreed tariffs & prison without due process are wrong. He then described his issues with Asians & said "What was I fighting for in Vietnam? Trump will get 'em out." I guess each Trump supporter has a pet lie. This one was honest.

@whitehouse.senate.gov Have we become a police state? We are not at war, nor are we in a heightened state of alert for terrorism. So…why? Trump wants us to fear him.
