TRON has always been about the aesthetic, with everything else a secondary concern. They've never been great movies, but they're stylish as hell. I say this as someone who loves them dearly.

anyway, is it a GOOD movie? not quite, I don't think, but it doesn't deserve to be compared to, like, that piece of shit Jurassic Park thing from earlier this year, where the lack of interest from everybody involved was kinda obvious

I'm a huge Tron fan and I actually loved Ares, but I know how these movies historically go. So "definitely not as bad, but not quite good enough" is pretty damn good for a Tron movie! I'll take it! 😁
