Just added some more interface changes after watching @ancastasia.bsky.social almost play through the Playtest. When watching other people, stuff that's missing often becomes painfully obvious... #indiedev #indiegames

So now that I’ve played a little bit more of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, I can finally describe the game, which is a bit difficult to describe off the bat. It is a puzzle-platformer that builds off the best parts of Yoshi’s Island for the SNES.

the downside is that it was pretty hard. the UPSIDE is that AGS was built for adventure games and text-parsers. So it already has all the code necessary for making a text adventure, AND all the code necessary for visuals! (because of point n' click games)
