Just to be clear... Prop 40 is a ONE-TIME retroactive tax. It applies ONLY to billionaires and would tax just 5% of their wealth — which grew 30% in 2025. California's billionaires would still be worth $2T+ AFTER the tax. The revenue will fund healthcare for millions of Californians. Vote YES.

I wrote about how the Meta No Kings blocking offers an urgent warning: If we're going to actually take on the billionaires (and we have to), they're going to fight back. That means we have to build a movement that can exist around them with the goal of expunging them from (controlling) our lives.

UPDATE 🧵: In this case, when the second status report (with the declaration requirement) was due, DOJ *again* filed a status report with no declaration in noncompliance with the court's order. They did, however, state that a declaration would come Monday. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
