Alpine have a unique lay flat rear wing, when used in straight line mode. Other teams have a DRS style flap that opens upwards. It has slightly more drag, but the flow reattaches quicker as wing closes to get full downforce into a corner. Giving the driver confidence to close it later #F1 #F1tech

#F1 Brake caliper design has always been fascinating. For 2026 Calipers can now have from 2 to 8 pistons (was 6), with up to 4 pads (was 2) & 3 mountings (was 2). Now, with these new rules and greater hybrid braking, teams 'could' design just 2 piston rears & 8 piston fronts! #F1tech
