17 year olds lack nuance and open world views but it's crazy that "fetishizing disability" is something that can get hurled at you because you drew your disabled character being treated as a human and not inspiration porn or a prop. weird.

Yep, but folk who don't have kids/like Disney pretend Disney is causing a crisis. Folk who don't like superhero movies - Marvel is a crisis. Why do they keep making Smurf movies? Have you met kids? No more Star Wars! Who cares if people like it? Meanwhile, Sinners, Together, Mickey 17, etc.

I'm REALLY hoping Hoppers actually does well next year, since it looks great, but I'm worried this trend will repeat itself here when looking at that and Moana live action, similar to what happened this year with Lilo and Stitch and Elio. I'm hoping Hoppers catches on right away this time🤞
