Folks don't even understand that LA City and "LA" are not the same thing and Karen Bass is mayor of LA City only.

Neither mayor can wave a magic wand. Both need council cooperation, funding, and sometimes state approval. I’m all for demanding results and holding elected officials accountable. But comparing two mayors without understanding what they actually have the authority to do is unserious.
