People keep saying "oh no! I'm so sorry" when I tell them the doc actually figured out what was going on or that I'm going under the knife soon. I'm actually extremely cheerful about it cause it's not new. I've been suffering from it this whole time, but now I have answers and solutions! It's great!
Show PostIt really is a whole lot easier to say "I can't do this right now" or "I need an accommodation" now that I know that it's an actual medical problem that I'll need surgery for that's causing me to have such debilitating periods. The validation that this isn't normal gives me so much more confidence.
