Today marks my 30th start of the academic year: 1996, fresh out of an LLM at UCL (which I’d taken a punt on as insurance law at a city firm and I had not got on) and I landed two PT roles: one at Kings (which I did for two years) and one at London Guildhall which was made permanent in 1997
