This has been a difficult summer for biking deaths in Boston. Louisa Gag was killed by a truck driver in July. Now we've just learned that Thomas Rose, a newer Boston resident who was teaching at MIT was hit by a truck driver in August and just died This was the 5th memorial of the summer 😔
Show PostLast week I met Rahim at Open Streets Mattapan. When he was a taxi driver many years ago, he hated all my public posts about road diets and complete streets infrastructure. He has since given up his driving job and realized how transforming it was to get around the city by bicycle.
