I always think how there’s both: Japanese men are barbaric ~aka~ “big stupid man assertive, almost harmfully so” top dynamic & Asian men are more effeminate than white/western men for a “deferent, wide eyed, it’s my first rodeo, save me daddy” bottom vibe I cld say a lot but thank you for saying

imo it doesn't suffer from the half-assed ending disease that shows of this era mostly suffered from. learning from you that it ended prematurely; it doesn't reflect in the show in my opinion? though I'm just beginning s2 (of 4) of my rewatch so, my memories aren't the freshest
