Show PostOne of the many excellent points in this essay is that the presence of the business schools on campus legitimizes precisely those logics that are then used to cut the core of the university- the humanities & other curiosity-driven rather than market-driven forms of inquiry.

Everything about this piece is spot on. And while this mostly focuses on MBA education, I would argue that some of the most corrosive effects are happening at the undergrad level with all of this. My university offers six different BAs housed in the business school. Wither the liberal arts I guess.
