Yeah I don’t know why sexual assault gets a pass from these people (I mean we know why but) - like if it came out that I had done vehicular manslaughter while under the influence, I think people would be well within their rights to not want to support my stuff anymore, even if I was mega sorry.

I am heartily sick of "he said he was sorry, let's move on". Nobody is entitled to forgiveness for anything. Apologies and restitution are the bare minimum. That's not the punishment, that's just what a person needs to do to make things up to the victim.

I loved Jacob’s work to. It inspired me. That’s not gonna change. It will always be a part of my life. But I wish I had given that love and time and money and attention to someone who was also making great art who hadn’t violated someone so completely. He didn’t give me that choice. I have it now.
