Tree links over a grid is smart, no pole pinching and cheap neighbor lookups. Does the belt routing get awkward once players want long straight lines on a curved surface?

grid on a sphere always fights you at the poles, the cells pinch. are you hiding that with a cube-sphere or just keeping the factory stuff away from them?

That’s pretty awesome. Is the game going to be about exploring space, planets, seeing stars, etc?! I like the design. Will it be like the Civilization game or Age of Empires! Building, maintaining, and warring with others? Just wondering, looks intriguing.
