First 30 minutes with the new toy (Nokta FindX Pro metal detector): two bottle caps, a pop can tab, and a wad of cigarette package foil. Impressive, I know. 💰

At last my Nokta Score has arrived!About $60 above my price target but I bought it because it has the 3 features I wanted most. Waterproof, rechargeable and simultaneous multi-frequency. Also has Bluetooth and a built-in flashlight. I bought it now cuz I have more money though the season's ending.

Huh, hadn't thought about that! Long time since I've been out, though I used to enjoy it. I now realise it's probably almost 20 years!😱 I had a Minelab Sovereign then got the Explorer. Mostly went out on my own land - found various things, including a 1642(?) silver half-groat. Lots of iron here!

I am still using my Minelab X-Terra 705 that I bought decades ago. It's been superseded by the newer models, but I'll use it until it dies. It's my second 705, and you may still be able to find one on marketplace or eBay or in a detector shop that does trade ins. I'm in Australia, swear by Minelabs
