Perhaps the first game I ever played that, as a child, showed me the potential for bizarre and experimental game design choices. Wrestling with an emotionally volatile Pac-Man from beyond the fourth wall left a mark on me that I still think about often.

Trying to think of other big game changing abilities that also just hit HARD at their time. The portals of Portal. The bullet time of Max Payne. Jumping into any car on the road telepathically in Driver: San Francisco. And yes, even Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed wall climbing felt so good.

In a time of yellow paint, i find pretty cool how this game uses more natural visuals to represent aspects, like the shadow of the stalactite on the wall to represent where you should jump to be aligned with it.
