Ah okay. Obviously watch what interests you (if any), but the original show was remade into a movie trilogy that makes up for how old it is, and sets up the whole main “universal century” timeline. A lot of the alternate side shows are kind bad, but some are fun like G Gundam (minus the mild racism)

@gamesandnotgames.com Regarding disliking and then liking games: I had a big swing with Elden Ring. I bought and refunded it after the bullshit opening wolf cave encounter! But the discourse/FOMO was relentless so I rebought, uncovered a new "sense" of how to play, and continued on to beat the game.

I visited my parents for New Years, which was great, not so great is my bus home being delayed. Back to the plus side I’ve got a chonky new episode of @gamesandnotgames.com to fill some time.

@gamesandnotgames.com I’m catching up on your podcast belatedly from episode 1, and you mentioned using those Loop earplugs. Do you recommend them? Did you end up getting the ones for sleep? I’m a snorer and I want to help my partner survive the night 😅
