This will not get better. The US will always have a kill switch on any tech the rest of the world might rely on. Europe/UK/Canada HAS to find a way to produce these things for themselves. It’s an emergency.

I (probably obviously) disagree with John's POV here, but let's grant that all of what he says is true, and that X is good in all the ways listed in the post; let's even grant that's true for all demographics (it's not). It'd *still* be a site that pays known CSAM distributors at its owner's behest.
