At Fantasycon, I made a pact with myself in front of @emfaulds.com to focus on writing this winter and finish draft three of this book I have a small target and a simple goal and week one has gone well No slacking in week two! 💪

Not all English eel-rents were owed to English landlords. In 1086 the Abbot of the Holy Trinity in Rouen held land in Harmondsworth, with a fishpond & 3 mills that payed a total of 60s. & 1500 eels per year. It's not clear if, or how, the eels got sent across the Channel. 🗃️🧪
